Gordon is a partner in the Toronto M&A tax practice. His practice focuses on cross-border and domestic mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, and divestitures.  He has extensive experience in advising Canadian and foreign multi-national corporations, Canadian pension, private equity, and infrastructure funds.

In the past 15 years, Gordon has been involved in over 500 acquisition tax structuring, tax due diligence and tax modeling projects, representing a broad range of foreign and Canadian clients. In particular, Gordon has extensive experience in advising foreign clients with respect to investments into Canada.

Gordon has written and presented frequently in the area of taxation.  He has published articles in various publications, including the Canadian Tax Journal and has presented for organizations such as Federated Press, STEP Canada, and various Industry Associations
