Caroline Charest is an economist and a partner in our Advisory practice (Strategy and Economics team) at the KPMG office in Montreal. She has nearly 20 years of experience in economic and industry analysis and strategic coaching for companies, governments and industry organizations. She specializes in mandates combining economics, strategy and public policy. Over the course of her career, she has conducted and led several studies on economic and industrial development strategies, corporate financing, public policy analysis, strategic thinking, market research and economic impact analysis for clients from a wide variety of sectors, including energy and natural resources, transportation, life sciences, financial services, advanced manufacturing and the culture and tourism industry.

Prior to joining KPMG, she worked in ministerial offices of economy-related ministries in the Government of Quebec, where she was closely involved in developing government policy and the Quebec budget.
