Aranka is Director, Science & Innovation at KPMG Canada. She brings 20 years of experience in data analytics, business strategy and growth specific to healthcare and exponential technologies. Aranka guides digital health companies, international governments and multilateral institutions in strategic adoption and implementation of novel technologies. She also advises clients on occupational health and safety and evidence-based solutions to the COVID-19 pandemic, lending expertise in epidemiology and public health.  Leveraging a background in entrepreneurship, Aranka advises companies in strategic growth, partnerships and data commercialization to seize market opportunities.

Aranka has a PhD in epidemiology from the University of British Columbia and a post-doctoral degree in digital biosurveillance from Harvard Medical School.  She has published >100 works in scientific journals, conferences and magazines. Aranka has advised United Nations agencies including the WFP, WHO, UNOOSA on evidence-based programs, and has extensive experience working in emerging markets. 

Aranka is a thought leader in emerging technologies, and speaks regularly at industry conferences and at curated functions for C-Suite and Board members.
