Heather is the Talent Attraction Specialist for the Greater Vancouver Area and has been with KPMG since 2016. Prior to joining KPMG, Heather managed two fitness facilities in the Lower Mainland and worked for several marketing companies. She enjoys the diversity of our firm and interacting with staff and students.
In Heather’s spare time she enjoys living the west coast life, hiking, snowshoeing and exploring Vancouver’s many fitness studios. Within KPMG Heather is involved with the ME to WE organization as well as sitting on the KPMG Families for Literacy committee.
Lisa is the Talent Attraction Manager for the Greater Vancouver Area and has been with KPMG for over 10 years. As a student, she held two co-op positions with the firm; first as a summer intern, where she worked in audit and Canadian tax, then as an audit intern in the FIRES group. Lisa joined the FIRES audit practice as a staff accountant in 2009 and progressed to senior manager within the group. While a manager in the FIRES audit practice, Lisa acted as ‘People Leader’ for three years, a role which involves, among other things, professional development, resource management, and rewards and recognition.
In Lisa’s spare time, she enjoys being active and is typically training for a 10K or half marathon. She also loves spending time with family and friends, travelling and sailing.
Sandy is the Talent Attraction Manager in Calgary and Regions West and has been at KPMG for over five years. As an undergraduate student, she held two co-op positions with the firm, first as a summer intern and then as a tax intern in the GMS group. After graduating from the University of Calgary, Sandy started her career as a Staff Accountant in the Corporate Audit Practice and moved into a Manager role in the Corporate Audit group. Currently, as KPMG Calgary's Talent Attraction Manager, she is excited for the opportunity to interact with students through many campus recruiting initiatives.
Outside of work, Sandy loves to stay active and is involved in various intramural sports teams in her spare time. She is also an avid traveler and most recently was on a mini Europe trip where she discovered the amazing culture and food of Wales, England, Prague, and Croatia.
Sarah is the Talent Attraction Coordinator for Calgary and Regions West. She is a 2018 graduate of the University of Guelph’s Hotel and Food Administration Co-op program. Originally from Ontario, she was ready to move out west and start her career in another province. It with through her experience in multiple hospitality sales roles and volunteering on campus with the career services center, she realized human resources combined her love of all the different aspects into one.
When she’s not in the office, most likely you’ll find Sarah exploring the mountains or on the golf course. She loves to cook and watch the Food Network for inspiration.
After graduating from Ivey Business School in 2013, Angela started her career at KPMG in the Enterprise practice. In 2016, she started a secondment with Talent Attraction and then permanently joined the team to lead GTA’s campus recruiting initiatives in 2017.
Outside of work, Angela stays active at her favourite fitness studios. You can also find her exploring new restaurants and cafes in the city. Within KPMG, she is involved with the United Way GenNext group and for the past two years has volunteered with Future Possibilities for Kids.
Ininder joined KPMG in 2015 as a Talent Attraction Administrator where she supported the National Campus Recruiting Team. Recently, Ininder moved into the Talent Attraction Coordinator role for GTA Campus Recruiting. She completed her undergraduate degree in Management and Psychology from the University of Toronto - Mississauga and in 2014, she decided to return to school to obtain her Post-Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management from Sheridan College.
When Ininder is not interacting with students or assisting the team, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and enjoys yoga and hiking.
Erik joined KPMG in the summer of 2015, and is excited to recruit top students. Aligned to Regions East he will be focusing on hiring for KPMG offices in Ontario (outside of the GTA) and Atlantic Canada.
After graduating from Brock University’s Sport Management program, Erik focused on a career in human resources by completing a graduate certificate at Conestoga College. He then gained his first professional experience as a member of the campus recruitment team at Target Canada.
In his spare time, Erik enjoys following the stock market, growing all sorts of vegetables, and listening to his favourite podcasts. He also enjoys a great pun, so don’t hesitate to introduce yourself with some great wordplay!
Marie Roy Abdalla is the Campus Recruitment Coordinator at our Montreal office. After graduating in Industrials Relations, she gained her first HR experience while working at the Research Institute of the MUHC. As the Campus Recruiter of SNC-Lavalin Inc., Marie developed her passion for recruiting since she was
responsible of hiring talented and motivated students.
In her spare time, Marie recently rediscovered the joys of the outdoors – she started skiing again and during the summer, she can be found on a golf course.
Erum Khan is the Talent Attraction Coordinator for Advisory Services in the Greater Toronto Area. With a Bachelor of Arts degree from York University, Erum has a specialization in Human Resources Management primarily focusing on recruitment. Prior to joining KPMG, Erum worked for a HR Consulting firm, developing recruitment strategies for various government and public sector clients. She is excited to continue her career at KPMG to maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders finding top talent for the firm.
Erum is a travel enthusiast who loves to explore new places and meet new people. When she is not working or planning her next travel destination, she is spending time with her family and friends, trying out new restaurants and exploring the city!
