Learning is a key pillar for our community work.
As part of the firm’s ongoing commitment to the local community, KPMG in Bahrain donated a total of 100 laptops to Al Mubarah al Khalifia and Al Sanabil Charity Orphans Care Society.
Head of Corporate Social Responsibility at KPMG in Bahrain, Zeyad Fakhro, commented on the donation and said: ” Lifelong Learning has been a key pillar for our community work, and providing tools for the next generation to grow is a small part of that. Today with the global pandemic and schools’ shutdown, we can only do our part to help nurture our next generation and provide them with tools to succeed.”
Al Mabarrah Al Khalifia Foundation aims to make a social impact in the education field and to empower Bahraini youth to reach their optimum potential. By providing Bahraini youth with knowledge, skills and character development programs, they will be able to develop themselves and their Kingdom further. Al Sanabil Charity Orphans Care Society aims to provide educational, health and social care to these needy orphans and integrate further them into the local community.
