General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Bahrain Personal Data Protection Law will be effective from 1 August 2019
The European Union (EU)’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) had organizations of all sizes busy getting their houses in order in a bid to achieve compliance by the implementation date. Recently, the Kingdom of Bahrain issued a Personal Data Protection Law, due to be implemented by all organizations across the Kingdom by 1 August 2019. Both the Data Protection Laws affect organizations that deal with consumers and businesses in EU member states and Bahrain respectively. To learn more, please read the publication.
