Our client is one of the leading financial institutions in Central and Eastern Europe. The company is working on a large-scale Digital Transformation program aiming to identify intelligent IT-solutions for the customers and to provide innovative and modern applications, while creating meaningful User Experience.

The Test Automation Engineer will be responsible for analysis of business requirements and definition of a systematic testing strategy, including test automation, in an agile environment.

Key tasks:

  • Develop and execute manual and automated test cases for software applications and interfaces
  • Report, track, validate and document software defects
  • Analyze and validate test results 
  • Provide assessment and report on the overall quality of the software 
  • Apply and further develop Test Automation with supported tools 
  • Review and further enhance testing methodologies and test automation methodologies

Candidate’s profile

General requirements:

  • University degree in Computer Science, Informatics or an equivalent program 
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Test Automation for Web applications, leveraging Test Automation tools –Selenium Web Driver, JMeter, HP UFT 
  • Good understanding of CI/CD processes and proven experienc in CI/CD automations tools (Maven, Git, Jenkins) 
  • Skilled in SOA testing (Web Services, REST) with SoapUI, Postman 
  • Comprehensive knowledge and proficiency in SDLC and different software testing methodologies. 
  • Knowledge and experience with programming languages (Java, C#), databases (MS SQL, Oracle) and defect tracking systems (HP ALM, JIRA or other) 
  • Competent in Scrum or Kanban agile methodology 
  • Working level of English
