KPMG is pleased to announce the appointment of Kalin Hadjidimov as the next Managing Partner of KPMG in Bulgaria and KPMG in the Balkans who will take up the role in January 2020.
After more than 25 years at KPMG, Gergana Mantarkova will complete her tenure in the positions she currently holds.
Commenting on her successor Gergana Mantarkova said: “I would like to congratulate Kalin on his appointment. Kalin has the experience, integrity and personal drive to successfully lead the outstanding professionals in KPMG. I look forward to working closely with him in the next three months to effect a seamless transition.”
Speaking after his appointment, Kalin said: “Under Gergana’s visionary leadership KPMG has maintained a leading position amongst the professional services firms over the years. We will build on the firm’s strengths, develop new capabilities and continue to provide world class service to our clients.”
Gergana became the first Bulgarian Partner of KPMG in 1997 and was appointed as Managing Partner in 2000. Her responsibilities expanded in 2005 when she became Managing Partner of KPMG in the Balkans. Heading the Advisory practice, she has assisted international investors from across the globe, local companies and government institutions in achieving their goals. Gergana is a member of the KPMG CEE Partnership Board.
Kalin has been with KPMG since 1996 and became a Partner in 2006. From very early in his career he contributed to the development of the Tax service offering and played a key role in setting up KPMG’s office in Varna. Since 2005 he has headed the Tax & Legal practice of KPMG in Bulgaria and KPMG in the Balkans, which has been growing ever since.
