Meet our new Directors:
Neli Sandeva, Director, Risk Management
Neli has more than 15 years of professional experience spanning across audit and risk management. She has built up her expertise internationally having been part of the audit teams in KPMG in the United States and then in Bulgaria. She will further the development of a robust internal Risk Management function, helping to apply the requirements of the evolving regulatory landscape to meet the expectations of clients and stakeholders.
Nigel Grant, Associate Director, IT Advisory
Nigel has 20 years of experience in the area of information technologies, IT security and audit, and agile. He returns to KPMG bringing solid expertise having worked with organisations in the Financial Services and Telecommunications sectors across Europe, helping them with IT Risk & Compliance. Nigel is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
Plamen Valnev, Director, Department of Professional Practice
Plamen has more than 15 years of experience with KPMG, having been part of our Audit and Tax & Bookkeeping Outsourcing practices, working with companies from different industries. He will lead the Department of Professional Practice to meet the evolving audit profession needs, supporting teams in performing high quality engagements. The DPP will continue helping to transform the KPMG knowledge into value for our clients and other stakeholders. Plamen is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), UK.
Stella Koycheva, Director, Tax
Stella has more than 10 years of experience in the field of domestic and international taxation, working in the areas of both tax compliance, and tax advisory. She has supported clients in diversified industries such as energy and natural resources, software and business services, and pharmaceuticals. Stella is leading a number of large and complex tax projects for international and Bulgarian clients. She is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), UK .
Tsvetan Eliseev, Director, Advisory
Tsvetan has been with KPMG for more than 10 years, gaining substantial experience in the provision of advisory, audit and audit-related services. He has assisted local entities and international investors in a variety of strategy, restructuring, financial and commercial due diligence, financing and modelling projects. Tsvetan is a Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), UK.
Vesselina Stankova, Director, GMS & Payroll
Vesselina has more than 10 years of experience with KPMG and leads our Global Mobility & Payroll services team. She has worked with many international companies represented in Bulgaria in the area of individual tax advisory and compliance services, as well as payroll and HR administration services. She also specialises in cross-border expatriate tax services. Vesselina holds an executive MBA degree from Bocconi University and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), UK.
