KPMG IT Service GmbH, Germany together with KPMG Bulgaria OOD have registered a joint company to offer IT outsourcing services. The new company, KPMG IT Service OOD, will provide infrastructure ensuring high availability, performance and security, and will develop, implement and maintain cloud-based products and services for clients of KPMG world-wide. It is set up in line with KPMG’s global strategy.
By the end of 2016, the company plans to create more than 100 new jobs and hire highly qualified IT specialists.
“This is a strategic investment for us as it expands the possibilities for access to software products and applications developed by KPMG. These package KPMG’s collective knowledge and experience in a number of professional areas, including tax legislation, legal and regulatory requirements, financial management, business processes and others,” says Hans-Christian Schwieger, Executive Director, KPMG IT Service GmbH. “We have chosen Bulgaria because it has outstanding human capital and a favourable regulatory framework as a European Union Member State.”
