Public Sector Consultant

Do you want to work on cross country projects and contribute to the improvement of the public sector in our region? We advise diverse clients in Bulgaria and the Western Balkans including International Funding Agencies, government organizations, foundations, and NGOs to help them ensure good governance of public funds and respond to the greater requirements for reforms, accountability, and transparency.

  • Performing research, data analysis and preparing input for client reports. 
  • Monitoring of programme implementation, grant management and performance, risk assessment and verifications of costs. 
  • Review and evaluation of programmes’ results and financial performance. 
  • Institutional capacity, financial management and systems assessment. 
  • Advisory assistance to governments regarding initiated reforms in areas of interest.

You would be a suitable candidate if you:

  • Have a University degree in finance, business, economics, accounting, or another relevant field 
  • Are in your second or third year of professional experience in a similar field 
  • Show desire to develop in consulting and work with public sector and international financing organizations. 
  • Own a strong analytical mind, attention to detail and are able to keep strict compliance with deadlines 
  • Have working proficiency with Microsoft Excel Possess a flair for writing reports in English
