Every year radio station Studio Brussel organizes De Warmste Week, a fund drive to help thousands of worthy causes and this year we’re participating with the theme - ‘Mobility for Life’.
In the past 12 months, we’ve introduced a mobility program and made moves to three mobility hubs including Brussels Airport, Antwerp-Berchem and Hasselt. This, all in a quest to reduce our environmental impact, reduce traffic congestion in our communities and increase accessibility for our people and clients.
To boost (and celebrate) our employee’s year of efforts. During this ‘warmste week’ KPMG will donate €5 per day, per employee when he/she/x adopts a sustainable mobility solution from a range of options. This stems from our established mobility program with which our people manage their own mobility budget from a range of options. The Flex Reward Tool was designed by KPMG and since its launch, it has led to a reduction of over 880,000 kilometers of driving, equating to a reduction of more than 100 metric tons of CO2 emissions for our country.
All funds we raise during this week, will be donated to Responsible Young Drivers. The organization encourages young people to drive responsibly through trainings, awareness campaigns and various other actions in which volunteers play an active role. Their goal? To promote road safety in the communities in which we live and work – a cause that parallels our values closely.
Our donation to Responsible Young Drivers this year reflects our fundamental belief in acting as committed corporate citizens. We hope to spread the message amongst our people, clients and the public, one of driving responsibly this holiday season - and of reducing our impact on the environment through our everyday mobility choices.
We look to make an impact and look forward to seeing the impact other companies in our communities respond in their own unique ways. We are thrilled to be a part of it.
KPMG supports businesses and organizations in their quest to find sustainable mobility solutions and fix our traffic problems. The audit and consultancy firm decided to put theory into practice and put their own mobility plan to the test. Results are in and we welcome the conversation on how we can help your company follow suit.
