Tax legislation approved and regulatory update

Customs duties - 1 January 2019

A Decree reflects “emergency measures” and imposes a 12 percent export tax (customs duty) on all goods exported from Argentina. The new tax will be effective 1 January 2019, and will apply as a “temporary measure” until 31 December 2020.

A Protocol amending the income tax treaty between Brazil and Argentina has been approved by Brazil.
