This year as usual, KPMG delegates actively participated in the SPIEF. Jeremy Anderson, Chairman of the KPMG Global Financial Services practice, flew to Russia especially to take part in the forum – he moderated the panel "Evolution or Revolution: How is Technology Changing the Global Financial Sector?" supported by KPMG. Oleg Goshchansky, Chairman and Managing Partner, KPMG in Russia and the CIS, took part in discussions dedicated to innovations in the agricultural sector and the influence of small-and medium-sized businesses on the economy.
Anton Oussov, Global Head of Oil & Gas, accompanied by Lydia Petrashova, Head of Deal Advisory, KPMG in Russia, attended the Energy Summit organised in partnership with Rosneft, while Vassily Savin, Head of Power & Utilities, represented KPMG at a roundtable entitled Energy Trilemma – Ensuring a Balance through Integration.
During SPIEF 2017, KPMG partners Oleg Goshchansky, Anton Oussov, Head of Financial Services Vugar Aliyev, and Head of Agribusiness Vitaly Sheremet were also invited to the Kommersant FM mobile radio station as external experts: via daily live broadcasts our colleagues shared their opinions on the development of various sectors of the Russian economy.
