KPMG Australia today announced the launch of a High Growth Ventures practice, to be headed by startup mentor and commercialisation expert Amanda Price.
Ms Price has worked in the nascent Australian startup scene in several roles – including as CEO of early ad-tech startup AirWORKS Media. She has spent the past decade working in California and Australia, first as Vice President of Business Development, Partner Relations and Operation for EYEcorp, and as VP Innovation for Advance, and founder and CEO of ausEmerge – a consultancy that provided Australian startups with a range of services designed to accelerate their entry into the US including through KPMG’s elevate61 program.
The High Growth Ventures practice will support entrepreneurs by addressing their core needs:
Delivering a range of specialist services, the practice will act as a focal point for entrepreneurs and the wider startup ecosystem, connecting them to the breadth and depth of expertise in the wider KPMG firm. It will also work closely with teams from KPMG’s global network, including the USA, Israel, Europe and the UK.

Starting with a team of five specialists, High Growth Ventures will leverage the reach of the global KPMG firm. A major focus will be supporting the development of startups that can rapidly scale – through education, hands-on support and connections to the right networks and new customers.
