CGVT are a not-for-profit service provider in the justice, disability an unemployment sectors. They needed to upgrade their accounting software as it didn’t meet the needs of their growing business.
Flexibility, accountability and connectivity were key drivers in the decision to implement a new accounting software. CGVT needed a cost effective solution that had the capability to evolve with their growing organisation. CFO and General Manager of Corporate Services, Matthew Frecker, remarks that the incumbent system would have required twice the resourcing to cope with the rapid growth of the business. CVGT chose Wiise, implemented by KPMG.
Wiise centralised CGVT’s financial management and purchase ordering into one system, eliminating the risk of lost data between transaction approval and financial processing. It also improved data management and accountability throughout the business. This has enabled CGVT to effectively manage their workload and return the focus to the core mission of providing services to vulnerable Australians.
Real time reporting capability has allowed over 60 CGVT managers to access consolidated profit and loss statements across 180 cost centres. Finance Manager, Ben Stanyer, says Wiise has enabled “more accurate decisions on a timely basis”, saving days of productivity each month.
Over 450 employees across 119 sites were able to leverage their experience with the Microsoft suite of products which helped reduce the learning curve in on boarding Wiise which saved staff time, helped reduce errors and improved efficiency.
