As the Coalition gets back to work after a surprise win, KPMG Enterprise Partner Rob Bazzani gives his view on how three more years under a Liberal Government will impact the mid-market.
"We're looking forward to a great period of stability and certainty. A significant amount of capital will be injected into the mid-market space going forwards."
"The mid-market should take the time to find out what measures of support are available, from energy provisions, tax cuts, to the instant asset write off scheme and more."
"I believe a large number of new small businesses will be created over the next three years. This reflects our relatively stable economy, solid GDP growth, low inflation and low unemployment."
"I'm an optimist – there have been positive initiatives for the mid-market in areas such as diminishing the burdens of red tape and cutting the rate of late payments and this will continue to improve."
