KPMG refresh LW Reid's network infrastructure and drastically increase the speed of reports running in their ERP solution, Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
Founded in 1922 by Leslie Winter Reid, LW Reid is a wholly Australian owned, family company with experience in the wholesale provision of quality apparel in the Australian market. LW Reid currently have 7500 account holders nationwide, thanks to their stringent quality controls. LW Reid prides itself on its immense stocking levels; with over 1,200,000 items in stock and needed a network that could handle their requirements.
Chris Ronnie, Technology Manager at LW Reid said: “Since KPMG Hands-on Systems completed our network refresh to a new IBM solution utilising the VMware platform, we have seen a dramatic improvement in the speed of our reports that are running in Microsoft Dynamics NAV. This coupled with the project coming in under budget means we have not only saved money but we are saving time and gaining efficiency.”
KPMG had previously implemented a Microsoft Dynamics NAV solution with Power BI for reporting. When LW Reid found that their infrastructure and systems needed an upgrade, they contacted KPMG. KPMG implemented a network refresh, replacing their aging servers with a new IBM solution using the VMware platform.
