Deborah is an experienced HR and corporate affairs leader with high business acumen and extensive international experience in a FTSE Top 15 Company and domestic experience in a variety of industries. She has significant experience in leading culture change, large acquisitions from deal negotiation through to full business integration, change management, restructuring, crisis management and remuneration committees in UK PLC. Deb is a respected coach and mentor to senior leaders and senior leadership teams.

She is currently the National Managing Partner for People & Corporate Affairs at KPMG, based in Sydney. Since joining KPMG in January 2018 Deb has led the people strategy with particular focus on creating a mentally healthy culture with leaders confident and competent in leading the charge, developing leaders with the skills and capabilities to be successful in the workforce of the future and passionately driving inclusion and diversity. She is also responsible for KPMG's extensive corporate citizenship agenda.

Prior to joining KPMG Deb held the role of Chief HR Officer at Reckitt Benckiser, based in the UK, where she led the people strategy across the globe. This included leading the talent agenda, culture and major projects including integrating significant acquisitions. Her career with Reckitt Benckiser began in Australia, and also took her to the Netherlands and the USA.

Deb is actively involved in mental health and community work – she serves on the board of CMHA (Australian Corporate Mental Health Alliance) which aims to create a culture of good mental health for Australian workers, where everyone can talk openly about mental health, without fear of stigma, and share good practice. Recently she also joined the board of The Sanctuary, which is a NP providing women’s community shelters, to offer short-term emergency/crisis accommodation for woman and their children who are fleeing domestic violence.

Outside of her KPMG commitments, Deb is married to Michael who together are parents to two teenage boys, and she loves to run, cook and entertain at her home in Sydney after many years of living abroad.
