Vanessa is the Lead Partner for Digital Strategy and the Health & Human Services sector within KPMG Strategy. She joined KPMG in 2019. Vanessa is a creative leader who brings innovative thinking and contemporary methodologies to her clients and teams, and partners with them to set them up for successful futures in work and life. She is passionate about bringing out the best in people, and continuing to learn from them.
Vanessa has over 20 years of global experience in growth strategy and customer-centric digital innovation and transformation after living and working in Australia, China, UK, Italy and South Africa. Her diverse industry insight spans healthcare, insurance, banking and media. She has worked with clients to identify substantial market value for new opportunities and has seen over 10 platform and business launches to market. These were enabled by new operating models and significant business and cultural transformation.
Prior to joining KPMG, Vanessa was on the Board of an AI company specialising in emotional intelligence from facial recognition and was a founding member of Boston Consulting Group Digital Ventures in APAC, where she jointly led its Sydney team and global Strategic Design practice for a number of years.
A firm believer in giving back, Vanessa mentors a number of startups and has been a long-standing advisor to Redkite, the children’s cancer charity. Outside of work, Vanessa enjoys beaches, travelling, yoga and is a keen appreciator of all things art and culture.
