Mark Wright is the National Leader of the KPMG Immigration practice. He joined KPMG Australia in April 2022 and has been a Partner in professional services firms since 2001.

Mark has over 25 years’ experience in providing corporate immigration advice to entities operating internationally across multiple industry sectors including government, tertiary and higher education, financial services, mining and resources, including off-shore oil and gas, information technology and telecommunications, retail, science and engineering and health.

Mark is a leading corporate immigration and mobility adviser. He has unparalleled experience and demonstrated success in providing commercially focused advice and guidance on major strategic corporate workforce management and regulatory matters to many ASX100 listed companies, as well as global multinational Fortune500 and FTSE100 entities.

Mark brings a rare combination of proven commercial capability coupled with policy and government relations acumen. His commercial qualities have been demonstrated through his long experience advising some of Australia’s and the world’s major corporations. Mark has been a long-standing contributor to policy formulation in Australia, having authored numerous submissions to the Australian Government.

Mark is known for his ability to think strategically and to ask insightful questions. He is highly risk focused and able to link the technical aspects of moving talent globally to practical commercial reality. His strengths include an ability to cut through complexity and distil difficult issues for businesses which operate on a global scale to make informed commercial decisions.
