Sarah joined KPMG in 2020 to lead the national multidisciplinary cities and precincts team, focused on visioning, planning, and delivering transformational place-based projects and policies, integrating land use, transport, urban design, infrastructure and economics, in close collaboration with communities and industry.

Sarah is an Urban Designer (MSc Urb Des), Architect (B.Arch) and Project Manager with over 20 years of global experience (both private and public) gained in Australia, the Middle East, the UK, Africa and India.

She has substantial experience in the design and delivery of major urban renewal projects and associated infrastructure, particularly those entailing complex stakeholder management, tourism and investment attraction strategies.

In a previous role, Sarah was responsible for planning and delivering the masterplanning and rezoning for various State Significant Precincts (SSPs) across NSW, including liaising closely across all levels of government and local communities, to deliver partnered outcomes across major government initiatives. Sarah has delivered various major projects collaborating across all tiers of government, to deliver shared outcomes across tourism, investment attraction, sustainability, land use, transport, infrastructure and open space.

Sarah has a keen focus and proven success in embedding design excellence, environmental sustainability, economic viability and best practice provisions in her projects, and in enabling public–private partnerships.

As panellist on the NSW State Design Review Panel, Sarah contributes to design excellence across State Significant Precincts (SSPs) and State Significant Developments (SSDs) across NSW. She is currently part of the Property Council’s National Cities roundtable, contributing to the creation of robust and great cities for the future.
