Monique joined KPMG in August 2018 as a Partner based in the Canberra office, focused on the defence & national security, and justice sectors.

Monique understands the unique operating environment of the community, and the challenges the Community is facing. She is passionate about continuing to contribute to this sector.

During a career that spans more than 25 years in both the public and private sectors, Monique spent 10 years as a member of the Senior Executive Service in the Federal Government.

Monique was a Senior Advisor in the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade portfolio leading corporate, capability development and geographic divisions. She led major programs of work across the portfolio which included directing public affairs in AusAID, Australia’s former overseas aid agency.

Prior to her career with the Federal Government, Monique spent 15 years in the private sector, working in strategic communications, public relations and event management in Asia, primarily in China.
