Mike is a Partner in KPMG’s Strategy team and is a specialist in Mergers & Acquisitions. He works with major corporate and private equity clients both pre- and post-deal to identify and deliver value from their most complex integrations, separations, joint ventures, strategic alliances and M&A strategies. Mike has spent more than 20 years in this field working across the world on over 180 deals in multiple industries.

At KPMG, he is energised by the growth of the Strategy practice and is passionate about collaborating across the firm to bring the best of KPMG as one firm to our clients.

Influenced by the experiences of his Chinese refugee parents, Mike is a strong champion of Australia’s multicultural society. He is the lead sponsor of KPMG’s Cultural Diversity & Inclusion program and Chair of the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre, Australia’s largest independent not-for-profit in the refugee space.

Prior to his consulting career, Mike worked in a number of international roles in the global oil and gas industry.

Outside work, Mike enjoys long distance running, travel and Melbourne’s vibrant food scene.
