Matthew is a Chartered Engineer and Director in the Engineering & Asset Management team within KPMG's national Infrastructure, Assets & Places division with over 18 years of professional experience in engineering, asset management and infrastructure.

Matthew specialises in government infrastructure asset portfolios and stakeholder groups providing planning, analysis, strategy, maintenance, condition audits and asset management. He has successfully led multiple large-scale condition assessment programs with some portfolios consisting of over 10,000 buildings or over 100,000 individual assets.

Focusing on the efficient collection and analysis of data over an asset's lifecycle, Matthew synthesises this data to inform asset management strategies and financial plans to achieve an organisation's objectives, including the development of business cases, maintenance programs, capital expenditure and maintenance prioritisation frameworks, asset registers, risk identification, data analysis and data standards.

Joining KPMG in 2016, Matthew became a Director in 2019. Prior to KPMG, Matthew worked in several engineering and site-based construction roles across a range of industries, primarily mining, ports, bulk commodities and oil & gas performing feasibility studies, structural analysis & design, construction and engineering condition assessments.
