Wayne has provided a combination of formal and informal restructuring and strategic services, that have included independent business reviews and large cross-border insolvency and restructuring matters, several of which have been based in the energy and resource industries and involved communication with large creditor and stakeholder groups.
Key projects include an informal advisory and business turnaround engagement for a major Western Australian company in the energy industry. This assignment involved providing advice and assisting with the restructuring of the company, and ongoing monitoring of the company’s qualification for safe harbour protections under the new insolvency law reforms.
Through focused planning Wayne is able to deliver solutions to complex restructuring problems, particularly in respect of cross-border insolvencies and informal restructuring assignments.
Wayne joined KPMG as a Partner following the firm's merger with Ferrier Hodgson in June 2019.
