Before joining KPMG, Gary was a Network Business and Profitability Manager for Hyundai Motor Company, looking after motor dealer financial and operational management reporting in order to monitor, report and consult on, motor dealer and overall network financial and operational performance.
Before a period with Toyota Motor Corporation rolling out dealer management systems, and working as a financial controller for a large motor dealer, Gary spent a number of years with Deloitte Motor Industry Services specialising and developing skills in motor dealer business performance, benchmarking and consulting in motor dealerships in no less than nine countries across Australasia. During this time Gary directed and led the development of a Motor Dealer Network Business Intelligence System for a large luxury brand in China.
After qualifying as a CA in South Africa in 2001, Gary and his family immigrated to Australia in 2002 and shortly thereafter he converted to ICAA and became a member of CAANZ in 2005 when he joined Wayne Pearson at Horwath in Sydney.
