Andrew has more than 20 years’ experience as a Reliability Engineer and an ILS expert in the military, nuclear, mining, and public services sectors. He is a Partner in KPMG's Engineering, Assets & Project Delivery team, part of the Infrastructure, Assets & Places group.

Andrew holds a PhD in Reliability Engineering where he researched and applied Bayesian Networks to conduct qualitative risk assessments for nuclear power plants. He holds a Master of Science in Reliability Engineering and is a Certified Reliability Engineer from the American Society of Quality.

Andrew’s expertise is evidenced by his authored books and research articles such as “Probability Distributions Used in Reliability Engineering” (ISBN: 1-933904-06-2) and “A general cause based methodology for analysis of common cause and dependent failures in system risk and reliability assessments” (University of Maryland).

Andrew is the recipient of awards from the Director General of Land Engineering Agency and the international Probabilistic Safety Assessment and Management Conference.
