Ritesh Mistry

Ritesh has more than 20 years of financial services audit, assurance and advisory experience in KPMG’s London, Hong Kong, Sydney, Perth and Auckland offices. He leads KPMG Australia's Finance Advisory’s national financial statements compilation business and has extensive knowledge of the accounting and financial reporting requirements across a broad range of industries.

He has audited clients across the banking and financial services industry covering corporate, retail and investment banking, stockbroking, investment management, custody, securitisation, leasing and asset finance. Ritesh’s audit experience also includes Sarbanes Oxley and extensive regulatory reporting (i.e. to APRA, ASIC, ASX, Bank of England, EBA, HKMA and RBNZ).

A hands-on leader, Ritesh has successfully assisted clients with business transfers, adjusted sale price transactions, 144A debt and covered bonds programmes, capital management, regulatory reporting, legal entity rationalisations, transfers of reporting functions from Australia to New Zealand, business strategy, cross sell/distribution channels, the management of outsourced service providers, user access, as well as implementing new accounting standards, financial statement preparation and internal control frameworks.
