Melissa McClusky

Melissa is a partner within KPMG’s Technology Advisory practice in Canberra. She has more than 25 years of senior management and leadership experience across both the public and private sector organisations, including over a decade in the Senior Executive of the Australian Public Service.

Melissa takes great pride in delivering high quality outcomes and has played a significant role in shaping the organisations where she has worked and is recognised as being a strong and influential leader.

Melissa has breadth and depth of experience in the delivery of operational excellence in an Information Technology context and in the design and delivery of customer-centric services to the Australian community. Her subject matter expertise stand-outs include IT program management, IT Advisory and Strategy, Digital transformation leadership, Financial and Commercial management and Service Delivery leadership and management.

Mel joined KPMG in July 2017 and works across the Defence & National Security sectors. Melissa leads the National technology practice Inclusion & Diversity strategy implementation.

Prior to joining KPMG, Melissa was a General Manager – Band 2, at the Department of Human Services, where she led that Department’s digital transformation agenda across eGovernment and the Digital Projects divisions. Melissa was also Chief Financial Officer and Head of Corporate at the Commonwealth Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research.
