Greg is a Partner in the Canberra office, leading a practice focusing on managing cyber security risks in the Federal Government and protecting critical infrastructure.

Greg re-joined KPMG in early 2022 from the Department of Home Affairs, where he filled a number of senior executive roles including being head of intelligence and the Deputy National Cyber Security Adviser.

After beginning his career as a counter-terrorism analyst, working in South East Asia and the Middle East, Greg has moved between senior roles in the public and private sector. He has overseen the development of national security and cyber strategies, and major reviews. 

Recurring themes in Greg’s career are technology and government-business partnerships. Inspired by international and local examples, Greg is particularly passionate about using both technology and partnerships to advance Australia’s national interests.
