Jehan is a leading interdisciplinary advanced technology commercialisation specialist. He helps drive rapid commercialisation, particularly solving problems for startups within the emerging deep tech space across all industry sectors in Australia. He supports technology translation from research through to validation and scaleup, strategic partnership development between startups/scaleups and public research organisations corporates as well as government and founder performance, to deliver gamechanging social impact.
As a subject matter expert in the R&D Tax Incentive, Grants and Government Incentives, Early Stage Innovation Company Incentives, he played a crucial role as part of a specialist Government Incentives team which helped deliver $270m in direct funding for startups and innovation initiatives over the last 4 years.
Jehan was listed in the 40 Under 40 Most Influential Asian Australians for 2019 by Asialink. He has a strong interest in community-led projects in the arts, technology-for-social-impact, and mental health initiatives. He currently volunteers as a board advisor to Black Rainbow, Australia’s Indigenous LGBTIQ+ NFP organisation focusing on mental health and suicide prevention. Jehan is the NSW Chair of KPMG’s Pride Network, is a member of the KPMG Enterprise Staff Advisory Council and the KPMG Global Next Generation Council.
