Piers Hogarth-Scott leads KPMG’s IoT consulting practice with a sector focus on Smart Cities & Connected Infrastructure, Smart Food & Fibre and Smart Power & Utilities. He works with clients to help them take advantage of innovation in IoT to digitally transform their business, optimise asset utilisation, automate processes, increase profitability, drive operational efficiency, launch new products and services, and reduce business risk.
Piers draws on KPMG's deep industry, technology, policy and analytics insights to assist clients better deliver safe and effective IoT solutions. Services include developing IoT strategy, analysing the economic model and business case, redesigning the operating model, developing business capability models, helping navigate the fast emerging and complex technology vendor ecosystem, providing program management and governance, cyber security, data analytics and more.
