Head of Risk Consulting for Infrastructure, Government & Healthcare
Michael is a self-confessed tech geek with a passion for innovation. At the same time he brings to his work a reverence for tradition and history. As KPMG’s Head of Risk Consulting for Infrastructure, Government & Healthcare, Michael works extensively with boards and executives on rethinking risk across key strategy, policy and organisational design initiatives.
Michael has always enjoyed working closely with customer-centric organisations, and more recently the increased need for the rethinking of collaboration required across sectors to achieve public policy outcomes.
A father of two daughters, Michael spends his weekends immersed in their many extra-curricular activities. However, he still finds time to tune a classic motorcar and motorbike he owns.
Michael also is a member of the Audit & Risk Committee of the State Library of Victoria. “I’m fascinated by digital innovation but at the same time I love the sense of history and tradition in holding a book.”
