Carl Gunther

KPMG Australia

Carl is a Partner in our Restructuring Services group. He joined KPMG in August 2009 and has more than 20 years' financial and operational restructuring experience. He is a restructuring and turnaround specialist having led teams in complex operational and financial restructuring program across multiple industries.

He is often called upon to assist boards and various stakeholders in organisations during times of substantial change and stress in circumstances where it’s no longer business as usual. His clients are drawn from Government (Local, State and Federal) retail, mining, energy, metals recycling, industrial engineering, transport, logistics and manufacturing.

When Carl is not advising clients, he is active in his local community. He is a keen surfer and national gold medallist in surf boat rowing. For many years, he was a lifesaver with a number of northern beaches clubs. He supports the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles, the Waratahs and the Wallabies.
