Martin has more than 20 years' experience with Big 4 accounting firms in the UK and Australia, specialising in forensic since 2001. He has been responsible for leading and growing forensic practices throughout the United Kingdom, and now Australia.

Martin has acted as an accounting expert and/or adviser on a wide range of quantum of loss and damage cases, including commercial disputes, breach of contract and warranty disputes, completion accounts disputes, shareholder disputes, valuations, compulsory purchase orders, insurance claims, business interruption, product recall and other quantum proceedings.

He has also led a significant number of fraud, bribery, corruption, misconduct, accounting misstatement, black holes, insolvency, corporate collapse, regulatory and financial investigations and have advised clients on insolvency, anti-fraud and corruption governance frameworks, policies, procedures and controls, as well as the use of forensic technology, data mining, matching and interrogation techniques, electronic review of recovered/deleted documents, asset tracing, formal interviews with suspects and witnesses and liaison with lawyers.
