Paul has more than 20 years’ experience in professional business management and research in geopolitics, international relations, foreign policy and trade, and strategic risk analysis. An Associate Director within KPMG's Australia Geopolitics Hub, he provides tailored insights that enable clients to navigate complex geopolitical trends and events.

For 10 years, Paul worked in management roles with global food and beverage companies in the private sector. He also has 10 years' experience in the Higher Education sector, working in research roles for institutes and universities including the Griffith Asia Institute at Griffith University, the Global Change Institute at the University of Queensland, and the Institute of Asia and Pacific Studies at the University of Nottingham.

Previously, Paul was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of International Environment and Development Studies at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences, based near Oslo, Norway. For several years, Paul worked as a sessional Lecturer and Tutor at the School of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Queensland, Australia.
