The Justice system is complex, with the interplay of heavily dependent justice agencies, social, legal and policy factors needing to align for the delivery of important outcomes for society. Making a contribution to the delivery of positive outcomes from the Justice system is what motivates Kyran in nearly 10 years advising Justice agencies across Australia.
Kyran is KPMG’s Lead for Justice & Security in NSW and a member of KPMG’s national and global Justice & Security advisory groups. Kyran has provided strategic, operational and commercial advice across all areas of the Justice system for both Justice departments and the central agencies they work with.
“A well-functioning justice system is essential for all citizens. Delivery of positive outcomes for those interacting with justice system requires front line staff to be well supported with technology and infrastructure, and often for multiple service providers to come together in a coordinated way,” he says.
Kyran joined KPMG in 2007 following a career in the private sector that covered mergers and acquisitions, strategy, investment analysis and operational improvement. These skills are now leveraged to support public sector clients develop strategies and clarify their business cases to deliver on government outcomes.
