James is a Partner in KPMG’s Energy & Natural Resources Management Consulting team. Using his extensive experience in the Energy, Natural Resources and Infrastructure sectors, James has led and supported large-scale business transformations across the globe.

His knowledge and experience positions him well in dealing with C-Suite Executives, Executive Committees and Business Unit and Functional Leadership. His experience includes business process optimisation, business modelling, strategic cost take-out, strategy definition, shared services and new operating models.

James' consulting career has its heritage in change management related projects including performance design and development, organisational design, human capital and talent management transformation, and change journey navigation. His capabilities include technology, digital and outsourcing solutions with the energy and natural resources sectors. With more than 20 years of consulting experience, James is able to bring industry insights and pragmatic approaches to client issues.

A father of two boys, James likes to keep active in his downtime. He is an active rower and cyclist and enjoys the challenge of competing in an occasional triathlon. "I find significant enjoyment in the physical and mental challenges of these sports and the goal orientation of competing in various events."
