Georgie Aley

Georgie has more than a decade of senior management and Non-Executive Director experience within the Australian and international food and agribusiness sector.

Prior to joining KPMG in August 2018, she was the CEO of The Australian Institute of Food Science and Technology, having been appointed as the inaugural CEO in April 2015. Prior to this she was the Managing Director of the Grains & Legumes Nutrition Council and currently serves as a Director of Pulse Australia and Agribusiness Australia.

In 2013, Georgie was peer nominated as the inaugural recipient of the Rabobank Emerging Agribusiness Leader of the Year Award – recognising an up-and-coming ANZ food and agribusiness executive with less than 10 years industry tenure – and in 2014 the Australian Financial Review named her one of Australia’s 100 Women of Influence.

Georgie is a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the dynamics of the food and agribusiness sector. She works to solve complex challenges and ensure KPMG’s clients remain competitive and sustainable in today’s operating environment.
