Caroline Aebersold

National Lead – School Education

As KPMG’s National Lead for School Education, Caroline works closely with diverse public and private sector stakeholders. She supports policy, program and implementation strategies across primary and secondary education systems in order to improve student outcomes.

Drawing on her diverse, cross-sectoral experience, she enjoys bringing genuine insights to her clients to support meaningful outcomes in complex environments. She leads projects including public strategy and policy, operating and service model design, governance and regulatory reforms, workforce transformation and program evaluation amongst other areas. In her role as lead on KPMG’s public purpose system transformation capabilities, she is passionate about driving evidence-based policy and practice reform for improved public and social outcomes.

For more than 20 years, Caroline has worked in senior executive and board director positions within the education, public and community sectors. She is a former psychologist who holds a doctorate in human rights law, and was the CEO of a national non-government organisation in the school education sector.
