In a nutshell, what does your business group/service line do?

In light of the growing need for a global workforce in response to the global opportunities, clients are constantly looking for an one stop shop to manage and resolve any complex and perplexing challenges that arises. KPMG offers strategic advice and administrative support for the management of international assignments, related remuneration and benefits policies and relocation activities. We develop global mobility policies, help manage varied international assignee populations and provide practical and innovative solutions to global mobility issues. KPMG’s services cover all aspects of global mobility. We work with a wide range of clients to derive long-term tax savings for both the company and assignee. Our personalised service for each expatriate assists with home and host-country tax returns, tax briefings, cross-border tax advice and assistance in the application of tax equalisation and tax protection policies.

What does the average day look like?

Every day is a different day with new opportunities and experiences. You’ll be helping with tax briefings, client meetings, client calls, writing up tax advice, assisting with proposals, completing projects, brainstorming, strategizing, training, preparing tax returns and attending team meetings. Working in an agile environment also means that day by day there is an opportunity to be flexible in where, when and how you complete your work.
