We also assist with fuel taxes and rebates, goods and services tax (GST), land taxes, luxury car tax, payroll taxes, stamp duty and wine equalisation tax.

Bring together a range of employer consulting services, employer and employee tax and compliance management, technology solutions and international workforce optimisation to enhance the employee value proposition and deliver value to an organisation.

Rotation team – Trade and Customs
This team is dedicated to helping companies navigate the trade and customs requirements associated with their cross-border trade in goods.
International trade is growing in complexity, and understanding the trade and customs landscape and associated opportunities and compliance issues is more important than ever. Our team is a part of the International Tax Advisory group, which includes the Transfer Pricing and International Tax teams.

Rotation team – Employment Tax
We cover an extensive range of employment tax services, working with our clients to manage compliance risks and reduce costs. We assist with the complexities of an international workforce through fringe benefits tax compliance, due diligence and planning, salary packaging, payroll tax and contractor, superannuation and termination payments advice.

KPMG Law – Commercial Law
This team complements the traditional KPMG service offerings by providing high quality legal services to our clients as part of a one KPMG integrated team.
KPMG law graduates who join this team will experience 12 months of rotations across different practice areas and teams. In this time, you will receive foundational technical training, assist on complex transactions, and matters with multinational and local organisations. You may also participate in pro bono matters and secondments.

KPMG Law – Tax Controversy & Dispute Resolution
Be part of a team of lawyers specialising in the resolution of tax disputes. We work with clients across matters like:

Focus on helping mid-market clients address cyber risks and build cyber resilience while operating their business. We identify, assess and manage threats, and establish effective risk frameworks, and cyber and technology risk advisory. We assess our clients’ cyber maturity using KPMG frameworks and industry standards and provide incident response planning and managed security services. We also provide cyber risk quantification, compliance and governance, vulnerability assessments and managed solutions.

Enterprise – Human Capital Risk & Compliance
A multidisciplinary team bringing together practical experience and deep expertise across risk assurance, industrial relations, employment law, payroll operations and data analytics to provide an end-to-end service across all human capital risk and compliance services.
We sustain a compliant workforce framework through a focus on technology and analytics. We help our clients utilise data to identify, quantify and analyse their risk areas. Some of the work we do:
