Customer & Operations assists clients to become more efficient and effective through delivering tailored operations and improvement solutions. This involves the effective design, planning and sustainable execution of projects. These primarily focus on Customer and Growth Strategy, Operational Excellence, Procurement and Supply Chain Advisory, Asset Management and Engineering Advisory.
The C&O team is very diverse and multi-disciplinary. We have team members with degrees in business, commerce, law, finance, engineering, science amongst others. We have seasoned industry SMEs as well as career consultants.
An average day involves supporting the development of client deliverables. These are things like reports, presentations and models. You’ll be supporting the team with business development activities and proposal preparation. You’ll also assist at client meetings and workshops.
You’ll learn the importance of networking and getting to know people in different parts of the business. You’ll come to understand how the engagement lifecycle works – from developing proposals and selling work, to setting up projects, project delivery and then project closure. You’ll be juggling a busy schedule and running a lot of meetings is a constant. You’ll learn to be flexible as you move from project to project.
The sheer variety of projects and the opportunity to work with different types of people on different jobs. You’ll be solving challenging problems everyday.
