Rupert heads the tax function at KPMG in the Middle East and South Asia. Based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, he provides strategic leadership and is responsible for business development guidance and practice management. Prior to joining KPMG, Rupert served as Vice President, Taxation, at a Canada-based public company, one of the leading engineering and oil and gas companies in the world, and was based at its head office in Montreal. Before that he also served as a Tax Partner with an international professional services firm in Canada. During his 20 years of tenure at KPMG , he has primarily been involved in a range of international tax projects, including tax planning for corporations operating globally and for international companies investing in, and from, Canada.
